  في اواخر عام ١٩٨٣ اوفد جورج شولتز، وزير الخارجية الاميركي في ادارة الرئيس رونالد رمغان، مبعوثاً خاصاً الى لبنان والمنطقة لتقصي الاوضاع هناك. والمبعوث هذا هو دونالد رامسفيلد الذي كان وزيراً للدفاع في ادارة الرئيس جيرالد فورد، ثم اصبح لاحقاً وزيراً للدفاع في ادارة الرئيس جورج دبليو بوش يوم تقرر غزو العراق وإطاحة نظام صدام حسين عام ٢٠٠٣. فكان اصغر وزراء الدفاع سناً في تاربخ الولايات المتحدة في ولايته الاولى، وكان اكبر وزراء الدفاع سناً في تاربخ اميركا في ولايتة الثانية. وقد حصل «الديبلوماسي» (…)

  Alyan Abu-Aun is lying in his tent, his crutches beside him. He smokes cigarettes and stares into the tiny tent’s empty space. His young son sits on his lap.   اذا كانت الأحداث السورية الدامية قد أفزرت من ظواهر ملفتة، ان لم يكن من بطولات مميزة، فإنها أفزرت القدرة الخارقة للجيش العربي السوري على حفظ وحدة سوريا وتماسكها، من خلال الحفاظ على الدولة السورية، لأن تفكيك الدولة السورية كشرط لتفكيك الأرض والمجتمع والشعب كان هو الهدف الأساس من عسكرة الوضع السوري. وبقدر صمود الجيش السوري وتماسكه، كان من الطبيعي ان يأتي تشرذم المعارضة وتشظيها، كعامل أساس في ضعف الجبهة الدولية الساعية الى تقويض سوريا تحت شعار إسقاط النظام وإطاحة الرئيس بشار الأسد. وكانت هذه (…)

  La France se prépare à attaquer un pays pour « punir » son régime a déclaré François Hollande. Rien que ce terme de punir devrait être pris pour suspect et faire réagir n’importe quel démocrate. En démocratie, on ne punit pas, on juge d’abord. Sans doute manque-t-il à notre président quelque culture littéraire. Il comprendrait alors en lisant Xénophon que la punition fait partie de l’arsenal exécutif du tyran. Sinon, pour faire plus moderne, devra-t-on rappeler qu’une intervention hors cadre (…)

  حتى لو بدأنا قراءة الصراع العربي-الصهيوني من مذبحة غزة، لكان ذلك كافٍ لرؤية الخطر المحدق والخطر القادم بتصميم من مختلف الأطراف الرسمية تجاه حق الشعب الفلسطيني والأمة العربية ومستقبلهما. وهو خطر ينقسم إلى مستويين وليس نقيضين: – في المستوى الأول مشروع صهيوني رقم (أ) بطرد فلسطينيي ١٩٤٨ إلى الضفة الغربية والأردن، وهذا ما تقبله الأطراف العربية الرسمية، دون إعلان، على أمل أن يكتفي الكيان الصهيوني بهذا ويمنح سلطة الحكم الذاتي ما يقارب دولة! – وفي المستوى الثاني، أن هذا الطرد هو مقدمة لطرد كل من (…)
